Install Prestashop Invoice Module in Prestashop 1.7.x & 1.6.x

This is a quick tutorial that helps you to install Prestashop Invoice Module in Prestashop 1.7.x via Back Office.

Advanced PDF Builder – Prestashop Custom Invoice Module is an amazing module which allows you to customize invoice templates. With this module, you can easily create your own invoice with any page size based on 10+ pre-made templates, and a lot of other useful features for your invoice ahead.

In order to install this module in Prestashop 1.7.x.x with Back Office, you need to have two things:

  • Admin account to access Back Office
  • Source code of the module in .zip file

Now, you are ready. Let’s go and set it up.

The first step is access back office with your admin account:

The second step should download and upload Prestashop Invoice Module which you have bought before.

In the left sidebar, go to the “Modules > Modules & Services” page.

Click the “Upload a Module” button to upload Advanced PDF Builder module.

A popup for uploading the module will be appeared. You can drag and drop the module to upload.

Another way to upload module is clicking on “Select File”. Please make sure that you choose correct “” folder.

The file will be unzipped and installed automatically. This process may take some time.

A popup message will be shown up when Prestashop Invoice Module is installed successfully.

Now the module is ready to use! Let’s go to configuration step.

First, go to the “Configure”, and click on “Manage Templates” button.

A new window appears. You can add new template by click on the plus icon as in this below screenshot:

In the next screen, you can choose the size for your invoice which have page size range from A4 to A7. There have over 10 premium invoice templates (pre-made templates) for your selection. For example, if you are using a thermal printer, I suggest you should use page size A7. Moreover, with Prestashop Invoice Module, those templates can be editable. It means that you have a chance to create a lot of great invoices which will be exactly match your expectations.

After choosing size and template, the module will take you to next page where you can customize the invoice to suitable with your store. There have options for you to customize template name and header, set up margin, change the font, replace text, customize CSS, and so on. You can see the design template function in below screenshot.

The “Preview” button allows you to pre-check the customization invoice template. It helps you to make a decision on continuing customization process or saving this template as your own invoice to use in the future. Besides, you can definitely go back to this template in order to edit or remove it later.

Let’s move back to the module configuration. You can set up default invoice for each customer group as well as a delivery group. Please make sure you choose “Yes” in the “Active Module” field and press on “Save” button to finish configuration process. The details for this step are provided in this below screen:
