In order to install Prestashop custom invoice template module in Prestashop 1.7.x.x with Back Office, you need to have two things:
- Admin account to access Back Office
- Source code of the module in .zip file
Now, you are ready. Let’s go and set it up.
First step is access back office with your admin account:
Second step should be uploading the module which you have bought before.
In left side bar, go to the “Modules >Modules & Services” page.
Click the “Upload a Module” button to upload Advanced PDF builder module.
A popup for uploading the module will be appeared. You can drag and drop the module to upload.
Another way to upload module is clicking on “Select File”. Please make sure that you choose correct “gwadvancedinvoice-for-PS1.7.zip” folder.
The file will be unzipped and installed automatically. This process may take some time.
A popup message will be shown up when the module is installed successfully.
Now the module is ready to use! Let’s go to configuration step.
First, go to the “Configure”, and click on “Manage Templates” button.
A new window appears. You can add new template by click on the plus icon as in this below screenshot:
In the next screen, you can choose the size for your invoice which have page size range from A4 to A7. There have over 10 premium invoice templates (pre-made templates) for your selection. For example, if you are using a thermal printer, I suggest you should use page size A7. Moreover, with advanced PDF builder module, those templates can be editable. It means that you have a chance to create a lot of great invoice which will be exactly match your expectations
After choosing size and template, the module will take you to next page where you can customizethe invoice to suitable with your store. There have options for you to customize template name and header, set up margin, change font, replace text, customize CSS, and so on. You can see the design template function in below screenshot.
The “Preview” button allows you to pre-check the customization invoice template. It helps you to make decision on continuing customization process or saving this template as your own invoice to use in the future. Besides, you can definitely go back to this template in order to edit or remove it later.
Let’s move back to the module configuration. You can set up default invoice for each customer group as well as delivery group. Please make sure you choose “Yes” in the Active module field and press on “Save” button to finish configuration process. The details for this step are provided in this below screen:
